Located in Cibolo is the subdivision of Deer Creek. This beautiful neighborhood is right off Roy Richard Drive (known as FM 3009) and boasts of some of the most well maintained yards, mature trees and landscaping in the area. Deer Creek stretches from FM 3009 across to Cibolo Valley Drive, which makes for an easy commute to one of the many beautiful parks, playgrounds, tennis courts, volleyball nets and walking trails for the entire family to enjoy.

Homes in the neighborhood can range in average sale price from high $180's to $300's, depending on size. Each house in the area ranges from the well loved to nearly new. Watts Elementary school is a PK-4 Elementary school with approximately 650 students. The school opened in 1999 and currently holds a Great Schools rating of 8 on a scale of 1 to 10. For grades 5-6, students attend Barbara Jordan Intermediate School, and then Ray D. Corbett Jr. High for grades 7-8. Both schools are highly rated at an 8 and a 7, respectively. Samuel Clemens High serves students in grades 9-12 and has a history of excellence in the area.  All schools are located within close proximity of the neighborhood.

The neighborhood is nearby plenty of local shopping spots, including  Cibolo Market where vendors offer quality fruits and vegetables. Rolling Oaks Mall and The Forum shopping centers are also nearby, where you can find all your favorite brands such as Aeropostal, Bath & Body Works, Dillard's, Kay Jewelers, Macy's and tons more. The area is near Military Bases such as FT Sam Houston, SAMMC, and Randolph Air Force Base, making the neighborhood a sought after location for members of San Antonio's military community.
